Science Sisters – STEM Camp for Girls Ages 16 and Up
From March 31 to April 1, 2026, the Science Sisters STEM Camp for female high school students aged 16 and older took place at Otto von Guericke University.
The goal was to increase interest in STEM degree programs, particularly among girls, by allowing participants to explore various departments, gain hands-on STEM experience, and take part in interactive activities such as the “Setting Boundaries” workshop.
On the second day of the break, the FVST led an interactive session featuring hands-on experiments, an open Q&A, and a presentation on degree programs and the societal benefits of technology.
The program fostered an open, inclusive atmosphere and demonstrated how technology could transform social, environmental, and societal opportunities, significantly raising awareness of these topics.
