Dissertation:
Experimental investigation of the influence of ejecting on the cooling of moving aluminum plates (AA6082) using mold. The thesis focused on experimental analysis of cooling behavior in moving aluminum plates, combining heat transfer, fluid flow, and process optimization aspects relevant to industrial applications.
Why did you decide to (study your study program of choice) in Magdeburg./what was your
Motivation?
I chose Magdeburg because Otto von Guericke University is well known for its strong engineering education and research-oriented approach. The university offers an excellent balance between theoretical fundamentals and practical relevance, particularly in chemical and energy engineering. In addition, Magdeburg provides an international academic environment with strong links to industry and applied research.
Why did you decide to study CEE./what was your Motivation ?
I decided to study Chemical and Energy Engineering because it combines classical engineering principles with modern energy systems and process technologies. The program allowed me to build a strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and process engineering, while also addressing sustainability and industrial efficiency.

What is exciting about CEE?
The references of what you study, and where we use it is made clear in the study program. The diverse course modules help you bridge the gap between theory and practice.
What requirements and interests are needed for studying?
A mindset in aiming to understand the process and the skill set to co relate the theories into practical applications.
What is exciting about science/business?
There is no redundancy in science, it always captures your attention and keeps you inquisitive, since the more you know the more you get to know that you know nothing.
What are you doing now?
I am working as a Project Management Engineer in a FMCG startup in Hamburg, Germany
Short description of your current job:
Implementing lean manufacturing pillars and real time production tracking methods using Statistical Process control in the Production department coupled with resource and inventory management.
